Your personal website name is private and will be known only to people you trust. You and your family can access the website anywhere in the world that allows internet access even if your passport and supporting documents are stolen or lost while you travel abroad.
Your passport contains two pages that contain critical information linking you to the passport system; a copy of these pages can help to expedite replacement if you should lose your passport. You will need other proof of citizenship to get a replacement passport, but having the details of your current passport will help the process.
The annual $25 fee allows for storage of up to 5 items* per year; additional items can be stored for $5.00 each.
In order to maintain privacy of your website, you will be given the website name and instructions on how to submit documents after your order has been received.
*An item is a picture, which can be scanned or taken with a digital camera, a fax, or a document (.pdf, .ppt or .doc) that requires one upload to the website.
Tip: The most efficient way to save multiple documents is in a Microsoft Word Doc file, a PowerPoint PPT file, a PDF file or in a fax (each will count as only one item). You can include as many documents as you wish in a .doc file, a PPT file, a PDF file or in a fax. We will convert the .doc file, .ppt file or fax to an ISO 19005-1 compliant .PDF file to post on your website at no additional charge. PDF files are generally accessible on any computer with internet access and are set up to print correctly on almost any printer.
Tip: Keep the documents for each trip in a .doc, .ppt or fax separate file so you can have the file deleted when your trip is complete.
